#HERstory: With a lot of things on my plate nowadays, i can’t help myself from thinking of taking a long hiatus. But remembering the oath i took wearing my sablay, i would end up tapping my shoulder, taking a break like a 5-minute nap, and just go back to my routine at work. Aja! Well, here’s me last Friday, playing it cool when i received such a short notice at 12:23 that my talk about the National Women’s Month Celebration & other GAD Matters was moved to 12:50 from 2:00. Thank you heavens for keeping me safe despite me telling the driver to drive a lil bit faster 😂 and for granting my prayer that someone will take me to the foot of Highland. And yes, i wore my shawl like i would my sablay to remind me that this is service for the people and it is my duty and honor to do so. Now back to werk! 💜
P.s.: i wore nude, pointed heels during my talk. I just had to wear my pair of slippers in going to highland because i thought i was gonna go there by foot. 😂

After work, we went immediately to church. Actually he went there first because their office is nearer. So he waited there patiently just like what he did on our wedding day.
The past three years of being together in matrimony was full of ups and downs and we’re glad to have pulled it off alongside each other and with the Big Guy up there. We headed home immediately because a few minutes after, he needed to go back to his office for some important matters.
On normal days we are like this - too busy with our own business. That’s adulting and I’m not saying i’m all okay with it especially knowing the fact that i’d be left alone at home in this quiet village. I would just think that allowing him to work after office hours is my way of paying back for those days or weeks that i have to be out of town for an official business. What’s important is that we grow maturely together and even if one of us in not there. But of course i didn’t accept that as easily as i sounded right now. It took a lot of getting used to, of having to understand him everytime he had to leave home for work and go home late. Duty calls that a wife should support her husband no matter what and so i did.
Today was a test, reminding us that despite the demands of our career we have to make time for each other. So even if it’s raining at 8pm when he came home, we still decided to go out for a simple dinner. We took this photo while waiting for the food and it felt really good to be celebrating that which we thought was impossible due to a hectic schedule.
Cheers for the three years! Happy Pi Day to us, my π!

We visited this new store in SM lanang last weekend, just before we filled our stomachs up with Razon’s Sisig, which by the way was super sulit! 😉 Inside MINISO, it felt like i was a baby girl who finally found which doll to buy from a toy house. My mouse in the office was already malfunctioning and the prints on the keys were no longer visible. And it’s just so timely that my husband, who’s so supportive of my fascination to any pink stuff, bought this for me because i think there’s an issue with the backspace and the backslash of the keyboard of my laptop that i’m usinf now too! On the bright side, i’m just so happy with my new K&M. happy new pink! 💕
